The Tri-fold structure was designed for under $100.00 and consisted of three operable pyramids connected via sleeve hinges and an internal pulley system. The entire structure flat-packed down to under one foot deep, and weighed less than 50 pounds fully constructed.
This emergency structure was constructed using only hand tools and readily available materials. It provided separation from the ground, and modular panel systems for inclement weather. The finished structure was put on display at Lake Cuyamaca near Julian, CA.
